Megan Grano grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan - where she discovered her love of performing as a member of Second Suburb, her high school's improv and sketch comedy troupe. As a freshman at the University of North Carolina, she founded the improv/sketch comedy troupe Chapel Hill Players (CHiPs). After college, Megan moved to Chicago, where she studied, performed, and taught improv and sketch at iO, the Annoyance and many other small theaters. She toured with The Second City National Touring Company for 3 years and wrote an original show with the cast of Second City's Girls Night Out, before joining the Second City e.t.c stage in 2008. In Los Angeles, Megan has worked extensively as an actor, writer and coach. She has appeared on numerous TV shows and had small roles in the films Bridesmaids and This is 40; she has also served as a staff writer on Jimmy Kimmel Live!; and she performs nationally with Jim Belushi and the Board of Comedy as well as performing locally in Los Angeles with various independent groups.
